TRIPOL 16 A phase sequence indicator - test plug with earthing contact socket

Function and areas of application:
Tripol is the term for a CEE test plug for three-phase sockets 16 A - 125 A

The test plug consists of three components:

  • CEE plug
  • Protective contact socket
  • Electronics for rotary field measurement / phase testing

By combining these three elements, the Tripol offers three solutions that prove to be particularly advantageous in the following areas:

  1. The Tripol makes it possible to check the phase sequence on CEE sockets safely and easily. Indicated by a red or green indicator light.
  2. The tripole as a connection from CEE sockets to protective contact sockets enables the safe connection of commercially available protective measure test devices with protective contact plugs.

    According to BGV A3 §5 Para. I No. 2, certain electrical installations must be checked at regular intervals for the function of the residual current circuit breaker!
    All new installations must also be checked for the function of the protective measures!

  3. The tripole indicates the completeness of all three phases and signals the absence of a phase by illuminating both indicator lights.
    It has proven to be the ideal solution for electricians in industry, trade and on construction sites as well as for inspection engineers and repair departments.
