KR 6/8 cable tie pliers

The KR6/8 tool has been specially developed for the reliable installation of HellermannTyton cable ties of the KR series (see chapter 1.3). In split operations, the cable tie is tensioned, closed and cut off directly at the head. By simply exchanging the end plate, the unit can be converted for the different strap widths (6 mm and 8 mm). The glass-fibre reinforced locking pin of the KR-lock is mechanically pressed in and leads to plastic deformation of the strap ends. This creates a vibration-resistant, permanent connection. With the aid of the KR6/8 processing tool, the glass-fibre reinforced locking pin of the KR fastener is mechanically pressed into the strap. This results in plastic deformation of the plastic (deep drawing). This creates a firm connection with high holding force.
