The EHZ 6.5N float switch can be used in conjunction with an intrinsically safe circuit in hazardous areas of zones 0, 1 and 2 and gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC. It regulates the liquid level in tanks, basins, pits or similar and is resistant to water, waste water and is conditionally suitable for oil and most acids and alkalis.
As an alternative to the standard cable, various cables can be installed for special requirements. By simply extending or shortening the cable length between the float switch and the fixing point, the desired ON or OFF position for the respective fill level can be set.
