E-1072-100-DC24V-3A ETA Electronic protective switching relay

The E-T-A protective switching relay E-1072-100 is a two-pole electronic switching amplifier for resistive and inductive loads (e.g. solenoid valves, magnetic brakes) as well as lamp loads and capacitive loads with a rated voltage of DC 24 V and a maximum rated current of 3 A.
The two-pole electronic switching output prevents unintentional start-up or the possibility of dangerous movement of a machine, as can occur in the event of an earth fault in a system with an unearthed power supply network ("IT system") (cf. EC Machinery Directive and EN 60204 Part 1 "Electrical equipment of machines", Section 9.4.3.1).

Key features:

• PLC-controlled electronic switching amplifier (max. 3 A) with additional protection and monitoring functions for DC 24 V consumers (e.g. solenoid valves, solenoid brakes, electromagnetic clutches, monitoring and indicator lamps)
• overload and short-circuit-proof two-pole switching output with switch-on and short-circuit current limitation
• Electronic switch-off in the event of a fault at
  - overload in the load circuit
  - short-circuit of the load (load+ against load-, load+ against -UB and load- against +UB). Subsequent two-pole disconnection of the load circuit (via relay contacts)
• Control input "In/Ctrl" with control current display (YELLOW LED)
• "O.K." message (GREEN LED) indicates operational readiness and fault-free operation
• "Err1" cumulative error message
  all errors are signalled:
  - wire break in the load circuit
  - earth fault at the switching output
  - internal error
  - overload/short circuit in the load circuit
• l "Err2" error message
  - only overload/short circuit in the load circuit
  - reset required
• Built-in reverse polarity and overvoltage protection for control and load circuit
