The E-T-A-Elektronik E-1048-S6xx protective switching relay is an opto-decoupled transistor switch with protective and signalling functions. It is used wherever safe switching and protection of resistive, inductive or lamp loads on DC voltage networks is required.
Applications:

- Coupling module for cost-effective, targeted power amplification at PLC outputs
- Optimum protection for each individual load by monitoring the load circuit
Protection and control for fast switching operations for:

Key features:
- optimum consumer protection, as several current ratings (0.5; 1; 2; 4 A) are available No load derating necessary over the entire temperature range!
- fast short-circuit switch-off with simultaneous short-circuit current limitation - Time-dependent overload switch-off (switch-off characteristic was modelled on a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker)

- Error message: LED and signalling output signal overload/short circuit and wire break in the "OFF" state (option: wire break in the "OFF" and "ON" state of the load)
