Balancing putty mass blue

WEICON Balancing Putty is an easy-to-use, cold-curing 2-component kneading resin especially for balancing armatures for electric motors. Compared to machining processes, such as drilling or milling, this type of balancing has the following advantages:

• No work on the armature assembly. This means an improvement in quality with regard to noise and performance of the motors.
• Time saving, as e.g. deburring work at the balancing points is completely eliminated
• Anchors which have been balanced by machining in 1-level balancing can be balanced in 2-level balancing with WEICON Balancing Putty without any additional expenditure of time.
• There are no metal chips which could get into the winding and cause faults!
• The possible risk of accidents during drilling and/or milling is eliminated. WEICON Balancing Adhesive is applied, for example, during the test run (in the unhardened state) during the balancing process at 3000 rpm. (diameter of the armature 40mm). The specific weight is not changed (2.4 g/cm³).

Processing: knead by hand in a ratio of 100 (part A, blue) to 86 (part B, yellow) until the mixture has a uniform light green colour. The working time (pot life) is approx. 1 hour.

In strands of 20cm length and approx. 3cm thickness, the mixture can be stored in freezers at -25°C for approx. 3 weeks. After warming up to room temperature (approx. 20°C), immediate use is possible.

Optimum adhesion values are only achieved if the pot life is strictly adhered to. Curing takes place at room temperature or in the oven. The corresponding curing data are given below:

Both components must be stored separately in closed containers. Shelf life is 12 months from date of delivery. When handling WEICON Balancing Compound, the physical, safety, toxicological and ecological data and regulations in our EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed.
