ALB profi Tripus starting current limiter

Application:
Angle grinder, Flex, circular saw, hammer drill, submersible pumps, agitators, etc.

Operation:
This control unit makes it possible to switch on larger consumers using a soft start. This device avoids the problem of the house fuse tripping when the machine is switched on. The ALB Profi is simply plugged in between the mains connection and the load.

For the electronics to function reliably, a connected load of at least 100W is required.
At the moment of switch-on, the electronics limit the starting current to a maximum of 16A for a maximum of 4 seconds.

Attention:
The ALB profi is not suitable for loads with integrated electrical or electronic controls (e.g. washing machines, welding transformers, compressor motors, machines with speed regulation and some machines with undervoltage release) which always require the full mains voltage of 230V to function.
