This monitoring unit in a top-hat rail housing ensures the safe operation of three-phase motors in the 380-440 V voltage range. It fulfils the requirements of DIN EN 60204-1, section 7.8, which prescribes the use of a rotating field monitor if an incorrect rotating field can lead to hazards or machine damage.
