Single-pole thermal circuit breaker - mini design for automotive applications
This compact, single-pole thermal circuit breaker has been specially developed for use in the automotive sector. It fits into fuse holders for flat fuses to ISO 8820-3, type F and therefore offers simple retrofitting and reliable protection.
In addition to the standard version, the automatic circuit breaker is also available with automatic reset (only for DC 12 V) and in a version with hold-open function. The hold-open version prevents automatic reclosing, while the version with automatic reset switches back on automatically after the supply voltage is switched off - ideal for installation locations that are difficult to access.
The available rated currents correspond to the standard flat fuse values and are clearly identifiable by colour coding. The fuse and circuit breaker of the same colour have the same rated current.
The circuit breaker fulfils the SAE-J553 criteria and corresponds to the normal characteristic curve in accordance with ISO 10924.
